American actress and model Hunter Shaffer was arrested while participating in a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Rockefeller Square in New York. The demonstration was initiated by the organization "The Jewish Voice for Peace in Support of Palestine" in order to disrupt the interview of the President of the United States, Joe Biden.
Shafer, a transgender woman, is considered a well-known LGBT and human rights activist. She and the other protesters shouted, among other things, to Biden to stop arming Israel "which is committing genocide" and called on Israel to stop the fire.
