Elon Musk launched a campaign to eliminate bots and trolls on X. The tycoon launched the operation on Twitter this Thursday.
The company warned about a possible drop in followers on real accounts and enabled a channel for complaints. In May 2022, Musk estimated that 20% of the social network's users are fake, compared to the 5% admitted by the company. Internal analysis reveals that less than 5% of active accounts on an average day are classified as "spam" and bots.
