One person died and three others were injured after part of a crane collapsed from a building in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Construction crews were in the process of increasing the height of the crane by adding sections when one of them came loose.
In images shared on social networks, we can see a car crushed by the weight of this part of the enormous metal structure, and another damaged car a few meters behind. “It was traumatic to hear the Boom... I was terrified and shocked. I’m very lucky to be alive,” Mark Cerezin, the driver of one of the two damaged cars, told local media.
