Pesticides are manufactured with the aim of destroying or disrupting certain organisms, so it cannot be without effects on ecosystems. In agricultural areas, we know that these substances cause direct and indirect effects. The species most affected are terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates (insects, molluscs and crustaceans) and birds.
