A 29-year-old woman was swimming in Sydney Harbor when she was attacked by a shark. The woman was seriously injured in her right leg, police say.

She is in intensive care at St Vincent Hospital, a hospital spokesperson says. This is the first shark attack on Sydney Harbor since 2009, authorities say. The attack occurred Monday evening off a pontoon in Elizabeth Bay, an area less than two kilometers from the iconic Opera House, police said..
