BMW 330e is a plug-in hybrid version for the Series 3. It has a combustion engine, an electric engine and a larger battery than that of a conventional hybrid.
The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. The battery gives an electric range of 50 km and it helps keep average consumption very low. It requires some changes in habits and a certain daily discipline to obtain the great efficiency it claims, says the company. It is available now in Argentina and will go on sale next year.
