3 monkeys stolen from a Var zoo found in Marseille, 11 still missing. 14 specimens of this species native to South America had disappeared from their enclosure last week during the night from Friday to Saturday.
On the black market, a specimen can be exchanged for 3,500 euros. A suspect, a 19-year-old man, was arrested Tuesday in the Cité de la Sauvagère, in the southern districts of Marseille. A primate was found during the operation in a cellar in the city.
