24-year-old man withdraws 90,000 euros from an ATM in Ghent, the victim of a computer failure. The money withdrawn was not debited from the account of the Ghent resident.
He used his card, but also that of his girlfriend to multiply the withdrawals and reach the colossal amount in a few hours. The prosecutor requested 18 months in prison, a fine of 4,000 euro and reimbursement of the entire undebited amount. The judgment is due to be delivered on March 11.
