A CRS officer was indicted for attempted homicide of his partner on Sunday. The police officer, member of a Republican Security Company (CRS), was placed in pre-trial detention after physically attacking his wife, without using his weapon.
The wife managed to escape, the police officer retreating into his home, which provoked the intervention of the elite GIGN unit in Dijon. After long hours of negotiation, the husband finally surrendered on Sunday evening before being placed in police custody, a source close to the case said.
