Apple is expected to launch a new generation of AirPods in September or October. The new models are expected to come with a new design that will fit better in the ear.
The more luxurious model will also include active noise filtering and a built-in speaker in the charging case that can play a sound for locating through the Find My service. Apple will produce between 20 and 25 million units of the new models, which if realized would make the headphones the biggest launch ever for the AirPod.
