A Jaguar i-Pace driverless passenger car was stopped for a parade in San Francisco's Chinatown, and it was set on fire amid fireworks. There were no passengers in the car at that time and there were no casualties.
Some of the celebrants in the parade burned the vehicle, others pulled out their cell phones to take pictures, and did not intervene. A spokesman for the company said that it considers the incident a one-time event, and that the company will continue its operations.
