Air France flight AF6216 had to turn around near Valence due to a technical problem. The Airbus A320 could have landed in Nice, but it had no guarantee of being able to take off again.

The crew explained that there were no mechanics available to repair the fault at airports in the south of France. The plane finally landed at Paris Orly airport, as shown on the Flight Radar site, which allows you to follow the trajectory of the planes live. For the passengers, it is therefore a return to square one and a landing in Paris at 4:09 p.m. Why take such a long route when the plane could land in Marseille or Lyon? According to a passenger, contacted by Nice-Matin, the crew said that there was no mechanic available to fix the fault. The flight took off from Val-de-Marne airport every day of the week, except Sunday, around 2:30 p. m. to Nice. It was scheduled to land at Orly at around 5:30pm.
