Actor and comedian Rami Yosef hosted the old satire program "Saturday Night Live" In his opening monologue he talked about the war in Gaza and called for peace between Israel and Palestine. Yosef, an American of Egyptian descent, joked that he is not the first Egyptian-American to host the show, nor the first Arab-American.

After a few jokes, he changed his tone: "I ran out of ideas," Yosef said. "All I have is prayers. That's all I can do now."
