Suspect in Paris attack taken to psychiatric infirmary. He admitted to hitting victim, but said he had acted in self-defense.
Attack took place on Friday around 5:30 p.m. rue des Orteaux, in the 20th arrondissement. Victim, 62, says he felt guilty for not being able to react to the words of "incredible violence” The investigation made it possible to make a connection with another case in the same neighborhood, in December 2020.
