17 teenagers accused of sexually assaulting a twelve-year-old girl over several months. The events took place between February and June 2023 in a disadvantaged neighborhood in the south of Vienna, several times a week.
The suspects, most of them minors, are of Syrian, Turkish, Italian, Bulgarian and Serbian origin. Two of them are under 14 years old and are not criminally responsible. For fear of reprisals, the young girl kept silent before finally confiding in October to her mother.
