Boeing 737-800 engine cover comes off in mid-flight, a plane departing from Denver is forced to turn around. Southwest Flight 3695, with 135 passengers and six crew members on board, turned around after an engine cowling came off flying over Denver.

The incident seems minor but it adds to the list, which has become too long, of damages affecting Boeing. The FAA had already opened an investigation after a problem that occurred Thursday evening on another Southwest Boeing 737. A door stopper tore off on an Alaska Airlines flight on January 5, tearing off part of the cabin and causing injuries.
