Channel: 132 migrants rescued off the coast of Pas-de-Calais. French emergency services intervened during the day on Saturday to come to the aid of two boats in difficulty, while they were trying to reach England.
Rescuers did not spot a man overboard. People regularly die trying to cross this stretch of sea: at least five migrants died in January trying to reached England.
