Charging stations are booming in Italy, there are over 50,000 - Mondo Motori. Charging points on Italian motorways have almost doubled in the last year.

Lombardy is the first region for charging points (9,395), ahead of Piedmont (5,169) and Emilia-Romagna (4,253). Among the cities, Rome is the one with the most columns installed (3,588), second place for Milan (2,883) and third for Naples.
