Study: Accident repairs for electric cars cost on average around a third more than for combustion engines. The new X-ray technology is likely to be of particular interest to car insurers, for example - because if functional drive batteries are replaced even though they can continue to be used without any problems, this causes enormous costs. The technology is ready for the market and if it reduces costs, it ultimately save the end customer money.
