US President Joe Biden and the Governor of Maryland praised the crew of the container ship that hit a major highway bridge in Baltimore. The crew noticed that the ship was experiencing a problem while en route to the Francis Scott Key highway bridge.
The alert allowed the authorities to cut off part of the road traffic. Two people were rescued, one in serious condition, while the other six are still missing and presumed dead. Authorities believe that the alleged victims are all public works workers who were working on the structure when it collapsed.
