Cruise tourists find themselves stranded on African island after arriving late. Due to a delay, the ship's captain refused to allow six Americans and two Australians on board.

Among those turned away were a pregnant woman, a paraplegic and another suffering from heart problems. Norwegian Cruise Line said the passengers were left on the island "alone or on a private tour" and missed their boarding time. The company added that the people remaining there will have to join the ship at the next port of call by their own means.
