Chinese car manufacturer Nio follows a special approach to its battery technology. If the battery is empty, power for a range of more than 250 kilometers should end up in the batteries in just five minutes. First models are scheduled to be delivered in China in 2025. Several Nio models are already available in Germany - including the electric station wagon ET5 Touring. However, if you want to swap the battery in your vehicle instead of charging it, you first have to find a swap station.
