A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Romans-sur-Isère in the Drôme. The investigation was reclassified as premeditated murder.

A father and his two sons were placed in police custody on Thursday. The father is suspected of having organized an “expedition of his family” in the sensitive Monnaie district on Tuesday evening. The victim, an apprentice at a training center called Zakaria, was found in cardiorespiratory arrest at 10:15 p.m. Transferred to hospital, the teenager succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead around 11:15p.m., local media reported. The main suspect "is not unknown to me in Romans and I would dare to say that he himself is not favorably so", reacted the various right-wing mayor of the town, Marie -Hélène Thoraval, to Le Figaro's report on the case on Thursday night. The teenager's father confirmed that he had no involvement in the dispute which broke out.
