The attack took place in the Monnaie district on Tuesday around 10 p.m. An investigation was opened for intentional homicide and an individual linked to the suspects was arrested.

Some of the people indicted for “intentional homicide by an organized gang” in the context of this case come from the city of LaMonnaie. Marie-Hélène Thoraval, mayor of Romans-sur-Isère, told BFM that the victim was not known to the police or the town hall. “I'm a little tired of the measures that are announced every time there is a tragedy. Every time we have a Beauvau of je ne sais quoi! Today, I would like a real identification of what is happening,” laments the elected official.
