A car and its driver were swept away by water this Saturday, in Gard. The department is placed on orange rain-flood and flood alert this Saturday.
Several bridges in the department are currently closed and the prefecture is asking residents to limit their travel. A large force made up of firefighters and law enforcement officers is present on site to help the victim. The operations are taking place while the rain is still very heavy and the water level is rising. The driver and the passenger were a father-in-law and his son- in-law.
