Users around the world are reporting a widespread malfunction on Meta's platforms - Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. The malfunction prevents users from accessing any of the platforms, and has been going on for over half an hour.

The company has not yet issued an official announcement regarding the malfunction. According to the website Downdetector, it seems that the failure is felt mainly in Western and Central Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East, including Israel. The cause of the malfunction was a change in Facebook's router configuration, which caused a chain reaction that disabled the company's services.
