L’Hirondelle is one of the main care centers dedicated to wildlife in France. Since 1998 it has welcomed injured wild animals from the Drôme, Ardèche, Loire and Rhône without discrimination.

The overwhelming majority (85%) are birds - swifts and pigeons in the lead -, the remaining 15% of mammals.
