Electric cars on the decline: sales also fell in March. Petrol: 37.8% (-3.4%) Diesel: 18.3% (-0.5%) Electric: 11.9% (-28.9%) LPG vehicles: 0.5% (+ 5.9%), Natural gas vehicles:0.0% (-79.7%) The share of electric cars in all new registrations was just under 12 percent.

In February 2024 there were still around 27,500 new electric cars on Germany's roads.
