Elon Musk announced that the first human with a brain chip can now control a computer mouse with his mind. He announced this less than a month after his company Neuralink performed the implant.

"It seems that the patient recovered completely, without adverse effects," Musk said. The "start-up", co-founded by Musk in 2016, aims to build direct communication channels between the brain and computers. The company's ambition is to enhance human capabilities, treat neurological disorders and achieve a symbiotic relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.
