Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters' contract with record company BMG has been canceled. BMG is considered one of the largest distributors in the world.

Company signed a deal with the musician in 2016 and was due to release a re-recorded version of Pink Floyd's 1973 album Dark Side of the Moon last year. New CEO Thomas Kosfeld canceled the deal after taking up his new role on July 1, 2023. The album Will eventually be released via UK label Cooking Vinyl. Since October 7, Waters has been justifying the massacre carried out by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Envelope.
