Germany is starting the Easter holidays: there is a risk of traffic jams over the weekend. Over the Easter period (March 28th to April 1st), the risk of jams on German motorways is high.
The automobile club predicts a significant increase in travel traffic for the weekend of March 22nd to 24th. The Auto Club Europa (ACE) also expresses similar expectations, describing the coming weekend as the first “stress test” for the holiday season. According to the ADAC, particularly busy traffic can be expected on the following motorways: A1 Hamburg – Bremen – Dortmund – Cologne A1/A3/A4 Cologne Ring A2.
