“A trash fire” broke out on Sunday evening “in a room” on the first floor of the Guadeloupe University Hospital. The patients were “transported to the old hospital cafeteria”, which had already been transformed into a resuscitation room during the Covid-19 epidemic.
A fire of the same type and in the same area had already broken out in November 2017. At the time, the entire CHU had been evacuated and had lastingly disrupted the healthcare offering in the archipelago.
