“Most certainly flammable” liquid was found in the room of this resident, aged 71, in his room at the Les Jardins d'Arcadie residence. A person was taken into custody on Tuesday midday.
Funds diverted from his account last March. A complaint was filed for acts of theft committed against the same resident. A caregiver had spotted embezzlement in his bank accounts. When contacted, the management of Les Jards d' Arcadie did not comment.
