A 29-year-old man is suspected of being a serial arsonist in Nice, France. He has set fire to at least eight vehicles in three weeks.
The suspect, a young man with no criminal record, was to be tried in immediate appearance this Thursday afternoon. His trial was finally postponed until April 29, time for a real psychiatric assessment to be carried out. The trigger would have been an attack suffered at the end of 2023, the suspect says, and he reveres police and firefighters.
