In Paris, brawls between increasingly violent gangs: “They are not aware that they can kill”. According to figures from the Paris police headquarters, the numbers of injured and killed jumped respectively by + 25% and + 33% between 2012 and 2013.
The 22 cm blade, particularly formidable and so easy to obtain, has become the “brand” of brawl between rival gangs. The 18-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest, probably with an Opinel 13 shot, the weapon found on his alleged attacker.
