Lunar Terrain Vehicle will accompany the astronauts in the Artemis mission. Intuitive Machines, Lunar Outpost, and Venturi Astrolab are the three partnerships that the agency has invited to submit the following designs for their vehicles.
The plan is to produce a type of "challenge tender" in which, over the next year, NASA will pass on requirements to companies for meeting certain tasks. The winning company will be able to offer the vehicle services for other agencies or even private companies to reach the moon.
