Two lifeless bodies of a couple were discovered, Monday April 8, at their home in Thiéblemont-Farémont, in the south of the Marne. The couple's child, an infant, was found safe and sound.

A preliminary investigation was immediately opened against X for “assassinations” by the Châlons-en-Champagne public prosecutor’s office. An autopsy on the bodies of the two victims must be carried out this Wednesday, April 10. “The initial findings make it possible to direct the investigation towards the intervention of one or more third parties,” declared Annick Browne, of the public prosecutor's office. The victim's mother discovered the two lifeless bodies in the marital bedroom of her daughter and her partner, a 41-year-old man. The woman is from Soissons, her companion comes from the department of Aissons in Aisne, according to our colleagues from the Union of Journalists of France.
