Mercedes recall: 75,000 vehicles have to go to the workshop due to the risk of fire. 75,159 vehicles worldwide are affected by this recall, including 14,080 in Germany.
The reason for the recall is that the 48V ground point in the engine compartment was not attached to the specification. This can come loose and cause a fire hazard. The Mercedes models AMG GT, CLS and E-Class, which were produced between 2021 and 2023, are affected. Vehicle owners are asked to contact the hotline 080012777777 or wait for a callback letter.
