Shaoli Greenlick, 26, was killed on December 26 in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip. His family performed "Basuf Kholol Holuf", the last song that Shaoli recorded for the next stage of the program for which he was supposed to qualify.
In his last post on Facebook, he explained why he was retiring from 'The Next Star': "I'm living an old dream, to fight for the country and we're currently in the middle of the night... a new dream and another will have to wait a bit"
