Little Danka Ilic disappeared on March 26 from the town of Bor (East) in Serbia. Authorities announced the first two arrests on Wednesday April 3.
The Minister of the Interior then explained that the little girl had been knocked down a few minutes after escaping the supervision of her parents. According to the minister, the driver and his passenger then hid his body in a landfill. Police continue to search for the body, which the suspects have not revealed where it was hidden. The two arrested suspects were alleged accomplices who helped them transport the body from the dump to a still unknown location.
