Daniel M., 63, was sentenced at first instance to 15 years of criminal imprisonment by the Morbihan Assize Court on February 7, 2023. A patient, aged 21 at the time, accuses him of having raped her during a consultation in October 2018.
The doctor allegedly injected him with a fast-acting sedative and hypnotic product (midazolam) during which he allegedly had sexual intercourse with her. Several patients interviewed by investigators also reported inappropriate words or “big pervert” attitudes during consultations.
