Former cardiologist tried on appeal for rape and sexual assault. Daniel M'Bey, 63, denies all the accusations brought against him by three former patients.
He claims to have had a consensual relationship with the young woman who accuses him of rape and dismisses the rest accusations. The verdict is expected on Monday. The former doctor was sentenced at first instance to 15 years of criminal imprisonment by the Morbihan Assize Court in February 2023, as well as a definitive ban on practicing a medical or paramedical profession.
