Two dead and two injured in the collapse of a bridge under construction in the Dutch town of Lochem. The causes of the collapse have not yet been determined.

An investigation has been opened, authorities said. A journalist from the local newspaper De Stentor, present on site, said that workers were lifting arches from the bridge when the accident occurred. “Suddenly there was a huge noise. The entire arch began to sway. Then everything fell apart. We saw two workers fall,” she said.
