If you exceed the speed limit, the vehicle may be confiscated. In Denmark, the “crazy ride” law allows speeding cars to be confiscated and auctioned. This has also been the case in Austria since March 1st. Anyone driving 60 km/h too fast in urban areas can now have their car confiscated.
