Tesla Model S was stolen in downtown Los Angeles on March 28. Police chased it until the battery ran out and it stopped in the middle of the street.
Suspect was arrested but police did not release any details. Tesla has a range of only 15 miles (24 km) and can only drive up to 24 kilometers (15 miles) at a time. Police considered using a PIT maneuver to bring the car to a standstill but decided against it. The car belonged to Fox 11 anchor and reporter Susan Hirasuna.
