The victim, a 28-year-old man, was found during the night from Saturday to Sunday in Villeneuve-d'Ascq. The body was discovered on rue des Marchenelles, near a highway, in a burnt Audi vehicle.
A man showed up on the scene, saying he was looking for his brother, known to the authorities, and who was using a vehicle of the same brand. This man explained that he had been informed around one o'clock that his brother had been attacked, without giving further details.
