Searches are underway at Le Havre town hall, as part of a preliminary investigation by the National Financial Prosecutor's Office (PNF) targeting Mayor Édouard Philippe. The former Prime Minister would be the target of a Preliminary investigation for illegal taking of interest, embezzlement of public funds, favoritism and moral harassment, according to the newspaper Le Monde.
