Cigarette trucks robbed on the A11 motorway near Le Mans. Thieves forced the truck drivers to stop on a section in the Sarthe before stealing their cargo.
The theft was “very organized”, in the words of the public prosecutor of Le Mans (Sarthe) An investigation was opened into counts of theft with violence by an organized gang and criminal association with a view to preparing a crime. The perpetrators face “a criminal sentence of 20 years”
