Sporty Seat offshoot on expansion path: Cupra wants to conquer the US market. Cupra will launch with the battery-electric version of the Formentor and a larger electric crossover SUV.
The larger crossover will be built in the Volkswagen plants in North America. A compact electric car, the Raval, is expected to follow in 2025. The Tavascan, the brand's second fully electric SUV, is launching this year. The Terramar, an SUV the size of the Audi Q3, is also getting a new generation.
