Six ski hikers have been missing since Saturday in the Swiss Alps. The group left Zermatt (1,600 m above sea level) on Saturday and has since been missing in the Tête Blanche region, which peaks at 3,700 m.

Bad weather conditions are currently very bad, making the emergency response very delicate, says the Valais police. The six people are “actively sought on the Zermat Arolla hiking route” in the canton of Valais (south-west)
